I’d describe myself as a dance between an organized Swiss mindset and the passionate, impulsive spirit of Southern Italy, always full of emotions. My love for ice skating began at the age of 4, and since then, I’ve been dancing on ice, captivated by its magic. I was lucky to turn figure skating into a professional career, with plenty of support along the way. However, at 19, injuries led me to leave my competitive path behind, and I began exploring various dance styles in London. This sparked an even greater passion for blending movement and artistic expression on the ice.
Between 2018 and 2020, I had the great opportunity to perform and tour with Holiday on Ice, Symphony of the seas – Willy Biatek Production, and Art on Ice Zurich. Living my childhood dream while traveling the world doing what I love was everything—until the pandemic hit. During the lockdown, I felt lost, searching for meaning. That’s when yoga entered my life. Moving through a variety of poses on the mat connected to the breath gave me an indescribable sense of connection between mind and body, and I became curious to explore this further by pursuing the Yoga Teacher Training at Floripa Yoga Kite House in Sicily.
Simultaneously, assisting my dear friend Stefanie Olbort with her Masterpiece in Choreography pushed me to a whole new level of artistic expression and a deeper understanding of honesty in movement. The collaboration with Laura Hafen inspired me to create two (and hopefully a third soon!) artistic films, blending figure skating and contemporary dance to explore how these two art forms can connect and evolve together.
In this phase of exploration, I stepped further out of my comfort zone, moving to Milan for six months to take acting courses—honoring my Italian roots along the way! Over the last four years, my priorities have shifted, but I’ve continued to nurture my passion for both the ice and yoga. These two worlds may seem very different, but they complement each other beautifully, providing a rich balance of teaching and a never ending journey of self discovery.
Since 2022, I have the honor of sharing my knowledge as a coach, choreographer, and yoga teacher at the Skating School of Switzerland in Vallais-Champéry.
I’m thrilled to announce monthly yoga workshops in Zurich for practitioners of all levels. The journey continues, and I’m excited to keep sharing, learning and exploring.
